Location:-Common House
Our next Library evening will be on Thursday 15th December at 6-8pm.
We are delighted that our neighbour Rupert Shortt has agreed to join us to discuss his work.
We have asked him to start at 6:30, so if you hope to attend please arrive beforehand.
Rupert Shortt is a Research Associate at Cambridge University and was religion editor of The Times Literary Supplement from 2000 to 2020. He has written for a wide range of publications, including the FT, Guardian and Daily Telegraph. Rupert will be talking about his latest book The Hardest Problem: God, Evil and Suffering (Hodder). His other books include Rowan’s Rule: The Biography of the Archbishop and Outgrowing Dawkins: God for Grown-Ups.
There will be the usual arrangements for refreshments, i.e. bring your own or a donation for a glass of wine.
Look forward to seeing you there.
