WSRA library evening including a talk by Lewis Spitz

Date and Time:-September 29, 2023 18:00
Location:-Common House

Our next library evening will be on Friday 29th September 6-8p.m. in the Common House.
We are delighted that our neighbour Lewis Spitz, Emeritus Professor of Paediatric Surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital, has agreed to talk to us on:
“The Separation of Conjoined Twins”
The separation of conjoined twins raises many issues, ethical, surgical and organisational. Lewis has been involved in the management of 40 sets of twins (the largest series in the world) and his success rate of 90% is internationally renowned, as is the rest of his work.
He has also written over 400 publications and been the author or co-author of over 10 books.
We are in for a very interesting meeting.
As always feel free to bring your own refreshments or have a glass of wine or a soft drink with a contribution to our honesty bar!

We look forward to seeing you there.
