The next library evening will be on Friday 19th September 6-8p.m. in The Common House.(Please note the change of day)
We would like to say a big “Thank You” to the members of the Friday Art Group for the lovely display of their work. It was an uplifting evening for us all and it was great that we could leave the exhibition up for others to enjoy later.
Given the unhappy state of the world at the moment, we thought we would continue with the uplifting theme and have an evening devoted to humour!!
Please would you bring either a humorous poem, or literary quote that might help to lighten our mood.
As usual your own recommendations of recent reads will be most welcome.
Feel free to bring your own refreshments or have a glass of wine or a soft drink with a contribution to our honesty bar.
These evenings are open to all residents.
