This is to remind you of the Library Evening on Thursday 23rd October from 6-8pm in the Common House.
We are delighted that local author Andrew Whitehead has agreed to come and talk to us about his latest book ” Curious Muswell Hill”.
Andrew Whitehead is an historian and journalist with an abiding curiosity about North London, where he lives. This is the fifth “Curious” title which he has written. He was also the editor of the BBC World Service News.
Andrew will be bringing and selling copies of this book and also his other book “Curious Crouch End”. They will be £10.00 each (and he can only accept cash.)
As usual your own recommendations of recent reads will be most welcome.
Feel free to bring your own refreshments or have a glass of wine or a soft drink with a contribution to our honesty bar.
These evenings are open to all residents.
