This is to remind you that the next library evening will be on Thursday 30th January 2025 from 6-8 p.m. in The Common House.
As we will have just celebrated Burn’s Night, we thought we would like to explore Robert Burns poem “Address to a Haggis”,(Scottish speakers will be particularly welcome!).
We would also like to look at the proposals to exclude some famous literary works from our English Literature school curriculum. All your thoughts and ideas again would be most welcome.
As usual we ‘d like you to propose recently read recommendations and also enjoy the opportunity to book swap.
Feel free to bring your own refreshments or have a glass of wine or a soft drink with a contribution to our honesty bar.
These evenings are open to all residents.
