Our next library evening will be on Friday 7th July 6-8p.m. in the Common House.
David Staples, ex chair of the WSRA, will be talking about his book “Modern Theatres 1950-2020”. (A copy of this book is in The Woodside Square library)
David spent over 44 years working as a theatre consultant advising clients, architects, governments and performing arts organisations on the planning and construction of new theatre buildings, opera houses and concert halls.
He will talk about some of the most important performing arts buildings constructed worldwide since the Second World War.
Once again,feel free to bring your own refreshments or have a glass of wine or a soft drink with a contribution to our honesty bar!
